350Juneau and Theater Alaska annually present Climate Fair for a Cool Planet - a free, family-friendly event that features live music, dance, and theatrical performances, as well as information about actions we can take to mitigate climate change.
This year, the event will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Overstreet Park, and will feature work by artists Darius Mannino and Roblin Davis, and performances by Quinn Christopherson, the Yées Ḵu.oo Dancers, Collette Costa, Air Jazz, Lisa Puananimōhala'ikalani Denny, Stacy Unzicker, Ziggy Unzicker, and Diamond Dollar Entertainment.
Past years have included dance commissions by Hali Duran, musical commissions by Michael Bucy, new plays by Alaskan playwrights Dave Hunsaker, Kristen Ritter, Mike Tobin, Conor Lendrum, and new writing by Ishmael Hope and Kristen Ritter.
